Our Story
In the autumn of 2021, Mariliis, an audiovisual specialist, light artist and lighting designer, crossed paths with Katrin, a former biologist and lighting engineer – and a shared vision emerged. Fueled by their combined expertise and a passion for the transformative power of light, the duo decided to establish an architectural lighting design company. Through the fusion of Katrin's scientific precision and Mariliis' artistic flair, they committed themselves to crafting tailored, multilayered lighting concepts that transcend conventional norms. By seamlessly integrating their diverse skills, AETHER Studio is now creating environments that uniquely blend precision and emotion to illuminate spaces with a brilliance only Mariliis and Katrin could bring to life.
